- As predicted, Second Stage Theater's marvelous first New York revival of Harvey Fierstein's masterpiece "Torch Song" is headed to Broadway in the fall, opening at Second Stage's new home, the Hayes Theatre (where it debuted in 1982), on November 1st with stars Michael Urie and Mercedes Ruehl; this is one you want to see (read my review of the Off-Broadway production)
